Retreat: noun: A place of refuge, seclusion, or privacy.
Both types of retreats are designed with our four pillars in mind, which we refer to as GRIT.
Gratitude: warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received; thankful
Resilience: ability to recover readily from illness, depression, or adversity
Integrity: adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty
Trust: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing
Using these pillars, our retreats utilize various team building activities specific to the audience and the goal of each exercise. Each retreat will have the following components: community service, mindfulness techniques such as yoga and meditation, and team buildings exercises concepts. Each activity will be designed to impart a critical life lesson, enhance communication skills, challenge perspectives and build self-esteem. We have included activities local to each area so participants have a chance to relax and process all they are learning and experiencing.
